Visiting
We will schedule a Puppy Play Date when the pups are 7 weeks old. Buyers who have placed a deposit are welcome to visit during that time to “pick” their puppy. Visiting allows the puppies to become familiar with the sight, smell, and sound of their new owner and will make the transition to the new home easier.
If there is another pet(s) at home, we suggest that you bring a small blanket or towel with you, when you come to visit, to rub on the pups. When you take the small blanket or towel home, place it somewhere that the other pet(s) can access/interact with. The other pet(s) will become familiar with the puppy's scent prior to the arrival and should allow for a smooth transition.

Holding a Puppy
We no longer are keeping a waiting list between litters. When we have a confirmed tie and estimated due date, we will post on our Facebook group and begin taking names at that time.
Deposits are not accepted until after the puppies are born and we know how many males and females will be available for sale. The Weaver Dairy Goldens Facebook page is updated regularly with photos of the puppies and the proud parents. Individual puppy photos are usually posted when the puppies reach 3-4 weeks of age and then updated weekly.
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy from the litter (also known as a Holding Fee). The Holding Fee is non-refundable because we turn away potential buyers when all of the pups in the litter are reserved. If someone backs out later, we have to pay to list the puppy for sale and spend additional time and money until a new buyer is found. Checks are accepted for the deposit if received at least 2 weeks prior to pickup (so the check can clear the bank). The balance is paid in cash when the puppy is picked up at 8 weeks of age, or earlier per buyer preference. Puppies must be picked up within 7 days of their 8 weeks birthday, unless prior arrangements have been made.
